I read a good article in the newspaper today, objectively written about the Russian army. It spoke of its multi-ethnic and social composition. Reflecting on its content, I said to myself: if the same criterion of objectivity were applied when speaking of the rival army to the Russian one, that is to say the American one, the result would be even more surprising. We know well that a multi-ethnic society such as the American or the Russian one is strengthened by the love of country and - add - by the feeling of equality which must constitute the vital force and national pride. Now talking about the Russian army and making the observations contained in this analysis is legitimate but I find it very disparaging and racist as an analytical criterion. It has always been the poor, in all epochs of history, who have constituted the backbone and the meat of the national armies and this is also true for the USA, where blacks and other races have given their contribution but have often been discriminated against and marginalized in their respective decision-making centers. In my humble opinion, what honors the Russian Federation is the Kremlin's ability to give dignity, voice and national belonging to this myriad of ethnic groups and nations that live in its peripheries. Putin himself has stated more than once that Muslim and Asian citizens fully belong to the Russian nation. We have seen how Chechens immolate themselves for Russia today. Even if they are called Magomed - that is, Mohammed - and not Alexander -, and they do not do it because they are obliged but because they feel that Russia is their homeland to be defended from all dangers and threats. When the blacks of America fought in the Great War and in the Second World War for the stars and stripes flag they were in a condition of legal and human minority compared to the white soldiers. America was so ungrateful to them yet, yet they too sacrificed themselves for their homeland and for democracy and equality. My hope that we stop thinking according to the criteria of geopolitics and the mere sterile and counterproductive strategy that is used by our leaders to the detriment of peace and collaboration between states. Misinformation and tyranny have a thousandfold. To the peoples the sacrosanct right to disagree and to take to the streets against the government of domes and strong powers. Today, in order to save world peace, the establishment of an international transversal movement is urgently needed to halt the ongoing escalation and remilitarization of our nations. This popular uprising operation is the only one capable of stopping the Czechs today from dragging the world into an absurd and self-destructive conflict.
