J'accuse on the Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg - Russian and American diplomacy compared / wheat and weapons
It is now peaceful and accepted as given to all that the ongoing war in Ukraine opposes the Americans to the Russians where the other countries involved are mere extras who must play their subordinate roles without using their reasoning and their political dignity. Has anyone ever doubted or questioned the strategy of war to the bitter end? From the French to the Italians, from the Germans to the Spaniards, not to mention the countries of Eastern Europe who joined Washington's bandwagon after the end of the Cold War, all are unanimous in their support for the military option which also includes isolation and closure towards any dialogue with the Russian enemy. All with their media to narrate the war of the attacked and the horror of the attackers, without thinking in the least about how to stop the bloodbath and start talking to the other side again. No! Forbidden and woe to anyone who dares to do so and open the breach on the American front. In this context of censorship, the Ukrainian war has so far developed between proclamations and propaganda worthy of the worst dictatorships. Anyone who has had the slightest second thoughts and the slightest self-criticism has been accused of being a pro-Putin communist or worse of colluding with the enemy. In short, even those who once like Meloni went around saying that they would reform the European Union and get their country out of too suffocating ties with NATO, today they rediscover that they are the true Atlantics and precisely their inconsistency and I would say their weakness is used by the manipulators to promote them as national and maybe until proven otherwise regional leaders, in exchange for the support of the war and political plans of the American superpower. The great sadness of the European continent at this juncture in its history is the lack of authoritative European leaders capable of asserting European interests and the very sovereignty of European nations trampled on by those who carry on wars and imperialisms extraneous to it. In recent days, however, the two Russian and American diplomacies are at work: Moscow is trying to reassure African countries that they will not lack the grain that Russia is ready to supply them at political prices, even free of charge, should the situation require it. In this way the Russians demonstrate to those who have accused them of wanting to starve humanity, like Meloni, of their full responsibility and at the same time that their vital interests remain intact despite the harshness and prolongation of the conflict. If Russia distributes bread and perhaps even some contracts of a military nature to those who request Wagner's services, American diplomacy closes ranks and calls Prime Minister Meloni to relaunch the option of war to the bitter end with all that it may entail in medium and long term on the economy, energy supplies and migratory exodus. What transpires from the confrontation is exalted as the political and diplomatic success of the two Icebergs of the Atlantic Alliance: the Americans in the north to provide information and support to the warring parties and the Italians of Meloni in the south to stop any enemy infiltration. Of course, not all Italians think like her in matters of war and the security of our country. To those who wasted your vote on her thinking that it would strengthen Italy's voice among the nations and make it authoritative and in line with our constitution, I would tell them to think again next time before voting for it. What people say before the elections is one thing and another when they sit in the seat of power. It's a pity, however, that we don't have a leader like Craxi who once used his reasoning and his political dignity and decided not to give in to the Americans in the Sigonella question. Icebergs will eventually melt. However, we hope for a return to reason: it is the Americans who have to stop Biden by sending him home and preventing him from repeating his presidential mandate. America is called to a great turning point.
