The assault, or I would prefer, the March on the Capitol on January 5, 2021 will remain a milestone in the history of the young American Democracy, because it was an important signal of the changing times and of the malaise and the deep economic, social and political crisis that had hit not only America, but the entire world. Its gravity was not sufficiently realized at the time, yet those who should have understood it, namely those responsible for the other camp of the Democrats, underestimated its symbolism and its significance, believing that with the trials and convictions of the rioting marchers, such pitfalls and dangers against their incomplete and fragile democracy would be contained. In that context, Biden's victory, supported by the then former President Obama, without whom he would never have made it, was meant to rebuild the deep country and take it back from the sordid hands of American extremists: precisely that neglected, humiliated and often angry Countryside against an Establishment too inclined towards liberalizing and marginalizing policies of the economy and deep Culture of the States of America was the basin of Trumpian electoral consensus and will remain so since the King of the White House promised them that he would make America great again and that their products will be more competitive on the American market after the adoption of duties against Europe and China. All these claims had already been advanced and the American Democratic presidents from Clinton to Obama and ending with Biden already knew the importance of such electorate and the need for a profound reform of tariffs and of the very rules that regulate relations and trade with Europe and China. Nothing or almost nothing has been done on this front after January 5, 2021 and the disastrous policies of support for the wars in Ukraine and Palestine have done nothing but weigh down the American debt, exasperate the already exasperated souls and even cause the loss of electoral support of the states closest to the Democratic Party, guilty of bringing the country to ruin due to its warmongering policies and openness to illegal immigration. Thus even the Muslims of America decisive for the victory of some States, have been enchanted by the Tycoon's promises to stop the wars in the Middle East, which is completely untrue given his current project of deportation of the Gazans from their lands. In short, the electoral defeat of the Democrats in the presidential and parliamentary elections is more than deserved and I would say a sinking, suicide, of the fragile and unfinished American democracy, and I insist on calling it that. Young: because until a few decades ago blacks and minorities were secluded and did not have the civil and political rights of whites. Incomplete because its system focuses on the primacy of the individual over society as a whole.This prevalence of unlimited individual freedom in the economic field has given rise to the phenomena of the American oligarchs that today characterize this sad American page, constituting that magic circle of influential and nosy men even in the internal politics of other states. This development of American capitalism that I define as wild, because it is not governed by clear rules of conflict of interest that protect the community and individual citizens from the financial power they hold, is truly the central problem that afflicts Western democracies. Nowadays, popular sovereignty no longer makes sense in the face of oligarchs who influence the careers, political orientations and destinies of entire nations and it is a growing danger. It is in light of the advent of the American far right in the White House and its paradoxical contribution to other European extremist parties, unaware, and I would say indifferent, of the same history of the old continent that had experienced two world wars in the last century precisely because of the nationalist parties that came to power. Vance’s visit in support of the German AFP was an electroshock for the socialist and bourgeois parties in Europe. More than stupid interference and disrespect towards the German people, it was an indication of how ignorance can transform into political idiocy that will eventually bring Europe back to the beginning of the twentieth century and, after the rearmament required in light of the lack of American funding, we will be faced with European armies of national states, ready to wage war against each other. The political and military tragedy will be repeated in Europe because of the Capitol's marchers and their absolute leader. But we already know that the transition to an era full of unknowns has already begun, leaders like Meloni, Orban, Le Pen, etc… are as incompatible as those like Macron, Merz, Starmer, etc…, a Europe with multiple faces and ideals will not stand up to conspiracies and oligarchic enemies. However, we must believe that a countermarch is possible. We can finally return to believing in ourselves, thus changing the fate of the world.
