J’Accuse of Friday March 14 Trump’s business approach in the Ukrainian crisis between Putin’s skepticism and the curse of the Europeans
Truly this Idea of the “Agreement on rare earths” imposed by Trump in Ukraine is a
revolution in international politics I would say, a melancholic and immoral
return to the law of the strongest that ultimately imposes the conditions for
surrender and the settlement of political and military issues. Yet this crisis
has marked our time, because it has outlined its contradictions and paradoxes.
We certainly could not continue to lie to ourselves that the Europe that our
European leaders together with their American allies would collapse one day
like a house of cards in the face of the change of political regime / Regime
change that has actually occurred in the United States of America with the
return of Trump to the White House. It is a deluded, irresponsible and
incapable Europe and the worst thing is that it wanted a war that it would
never have won or at least that would have led to a nuclear holocaust. this
irresponsible, deluded and incapable Europe is struggling today in the light of
this new world order and recovering with a major rearmament plan of eight
hundred billion euros that the European Parliament approved yesterday. But it
is not the idea in itself legitimate to equip ourselves with common deterrent
weapons but the unhealthy underlying idea that building a European and
international balance based on the hasty race for rearmament and mutual threats
is completely absurd and harmful to everyone. Moreover, this rearmament will
obviously enrich the overseas war industries and America itself, guilty of
having wanted and fueled this crisis with the policies of Biden and his
predecessors Obama and Clinton. Having set up a policy with Russia whose
central focus was the enlargement of the NATO to the east and the number of
bases and weapons to be installed there to wear down and dismantle the Russian
Federation. This policy, in short, of eastward expansion up to the Russian
borders has given rise to the war in Ukraine and its consequences that are
before our eyes. Today, Trump's America has washed its hands of the policies launched
and carried forward by past White House Administrations and demands that the
Ukrainians sign an Agreement that returns all the credits given to Kiev for the
maintenance and continuation of the war. Isn't this a scam out of the blue? How
can the credits be reclaimed when it was the Americans and Europeans themselves
who caused and wanted the war and its continuation up to now? At least we
should have had a little decency! And to say that since we are the ones who
wanted and fueled it, perhaps the division of its costs would have been more
than normal and I would say more than fair. Now why do the Ukrainians have to
sign an agreement that will grant the rights to their rare earths to the
Americans? Why? And why should the Russians accept such a situation when that
geographical area of the world would actually fall within the sphere of their
natural influence that cannot be contested by anyone? If this is the case, the
real winner of this war is in fact the Americans who, with an immoral and businesslike
approach that does not look at the law or universal values, are taking
possession of resources that are not theirs in the name of their military
arrogance. It is truly paradoxical and it is even more so because it was the
Europeans who pushed for the war and the denial of any negotiation that would
have stopped it and therefore prevented the ruins and damages that have been
caused to date by both parties. In this context, the proposal for a ceasefire,
in light of the changes in the balance of power, Kiev's acceptance of the
agreement on rare earths and finally European rearmament, sounds like the last
checkmate for Moscow: on the one hand, they are offered a ceasefire and on the
other, it is tied to agreements for the colonization of Ukraine by the Americans
that are clearly not honorable for Russia at all. The Americans would never
accept that Russia has interests and influence in their spheres of influence
such as Central America or South America. It is a clear defeat for Moscow even
when faced with the fact that the real counterpart is the Europeans who are
rearming today. Not to forget that signing a ceasefire when Kursk has not yet
been liberated seems like a joke. The current cards, to use a Trumpian
expression, are unacceptable for Russia and war is the only way to finally make
those who aim to divide Ukraine today and Russia itself tomorrow see reason.
But it is always the Europeans who must do a deep examination of conscience and
stop upsetting the world with their hegemonic aims on other continents.
